Greentraveller's travel guide of Zagori is here

Last June, in the framework of promoting Zagori abroad and turning it into a leading tourist destination, we invited reporters from greentraveller.co.uk to visit Zagori. Greentraveller.co.uk is United Kingdom’s most popular website for ecotourism. During their stay, they visited the stone built hotels of Zagorohoria, tasted traditional dishes at local taverns and restaurants, went sightseeing and participated in various activities both in the area of Zagori and the Epirus coastline. They describe their journey in the travel guide posted on their website.

In order to communicate Zagori and Epirus coast more effectively, they filmed a fascinating video of their journey.

“The main focus of our strategic planning is to promote Zagori as well as the coastal Epirus area abroad. In order to be successful, it is crucial that we develop synergies and establish rapport with the foreign media. Considering that English citizens constitute a vital audience for the area, the visit of greentraveller.co.uk was an essential step toward achieving our goal. The support of the GNTO office in London was of utmost importance for the arrangement and realization of the trip”, states Mr. Vassilis Katsoupas, president of ZEN.
